Day 1
Fly overnight from the UK to Bangkok.
Day 2
Arrive to Bangkok today and, after some downtime by the pool, head out to discover the lesser known sites of the city. Spend time with your family or friends catching up over a local Thai Iced Coffee "Kafae Boran" or fresh fruit shake. Take a tuk tuk ride with your private guide and explore the fascinating markets. Finish your day with dinner at a cool Thai Restaurant offering authentic, delicious cuisine - the perfect first day in Bangkok!
Day 3
Escape the bustle of the city, opting for a day of sightseeing with your family or friends where you can soak up the beautiful surroundings. Travel with your private guide on a local train and cruise the waters of a floating market by longtail boat. Plenty of fresh air and fun awaits today.
Day 4
A day free for you to relax, recoup and spend time together in Bangkok. We can provide plenty of suggestions, or prebook experiences to suit.
Day 5
Hop on a short flight to Luang Prabang, the spiritual capital of Laos. You will have a private villa during your time here, the ideal base to explore the beauty of Laos over the next few days. This afternoon take a walking tour of town, play a game of petanque with the locals and end the day with dinner at the Coconut Garden.
Day 6
For those who fancy exploring join your guide on a visit to Phosy Market - your guide will teach you some local language skills before setting you off on a market race armed with a list of items. A fun way to start the day and learn more about the local language and culture. Afterwards join your loved ones for a lunch at Tamarind. This afternoon you can enjoy a visit to Kuang Si Waterfalls, the Asiatic Black Bear sanctuary and the Buffalo Dairy Farm (a great spot for an ice cream!).
Day 7
An unforgettable day awaits; spend the morning experiencing life as an organic farmer in Laos and the afternoon connecting with elephants along the Nam Khan River. Between experiences your villa awaits - relax by the infinity pool, take a stroll through the gardens or dive into a good book in a shady spot along the river.
Day 8
A day free to kick back and relax, with the added bonus of a visit to Ock Pop Tok to learn about the textiles of Laos and have a go at creating a tie-dying t-shirt with the help of the friendly locals.
Day 9
Wave goodbye to Laos as you travel back to Thailand for a short journey to the beaches of Koh Samed. Here you can enjoy the next part of your stay relaxing on the white sand beaches, topping up your tan and spending time making memories with family or friends.
Day 10
The first full day of leisure on the beach. With 6 nights included you can be sure you will be feeling rested on your return.
Day 11
Another day at leisure - explore the island at your own pace or add on local experience such as a cooking class, snorkel tour or weaving lesson.
Day 12
A day of pure relaxation on Koh Samed. We recommend an evening fire show on the beach tonight.
Day 13
Explore Koh Samed or relax at your resort.
Day 14
The final full day on Koh Samed - nothing is planned but tours can be added on request.
Day 15
Travel back to Bangkok today by private vehicle and travel back to the UK on your international flight.

For anyone seeking a beautiful mix of white sand beaches, cosmopolitan cities, and charming Asian culture, the combination of Laos and Thailand will certainly deliver. Add to that a luxurious private villa on the banks of the Mekong, as well as a selection of exclusive two-bedroom suites in Thailand and you have the dream holiday to share with friends or family as you reunite and create memories together.

Start your trip in the city of Bangkok, an easy connecting point if you are coming from across the globe, and enjoy a few days soaking up the city buzz with a combination of downtime to do your own thing and private guided tours to show you lesser parts of the city. From here you will travel to the spiritual capital of Laos, Luang Prabang, the ideal place for families both young and old. Meander the colourful markets, learn to live like a local, get up close with gentle Elephants, swim in cascading falls, and even create a tie-dye masterpiece to wear home (it won’t just be the little ones wearing it on the plane home..). All of this whilst enjoying the beautiful accommodation at Villa Ban Khoy, a private place to relax as one. After a culturally rich time in Laos, it’s back to Thailand for a slice of paradise on Koh Samed. Here it’s about nothing more than relaxation and catching up with each other in stunning surroundings. We’ll book you into a private villa or selection of suites to ensure you can make the most of being together for the end of your Asian adventure.
